Bear Soup #62

Bear Soup #62, streams online tonight, Monday, December 28th, at 10:00pm Eastern & Pacific on BearRadio.net. Repeats Wednesday, same times. In this edition of Bear Soup:

  • Ahmet Yıldız update from bianet.org, “Father of the Victim Is Fugitive Murder Suspect,” by Bawer Çakir
  • An exclusive — breaking news from a Turkish gay bear friend about Ahmet Yıldız’ murder:
  • His father is the murderer — there were people helping him, but who [knows who?]. It took a long [time for police] to identify the killer [although] the plate number of the car used in the shooting was known since the first day. When an announcement was made about the killer, [Ahmet’s] father was long gone and lost in northern Iraq. Authorities didn’t work fast, even when they were able, and absolutely did not tell anything about the investigation of his murder [even though] it’s already been the news all around the world — thanks to Ahmet’s closest friends.

  • A hot & hairy (NSFW) reading from Jeff Mann’s story in Steve Berman’s anthology, Best Gay Stories 2008, “Taming the Trees”
  • Shoutouts, and the usual audio bear furbulosity. A delightful and safe New Year to everyone!

I’m cooking up something mighty fine . . . it’s a bubbling bowl of tasty tangy BEAR SOUP!
